Growth camp 2008

Growth camp is a 3 day and 2 night fun and laughter.It is compulsory for everyone to go.This camp was held every year and this year is different.Last two year we were stuck in school but now we were going to jalan baterah MOE campsite which was at the woodlands there.When you look across the sea, you will see Malaysia. This camp thought me how to cooperate with my team, learn life skill and many more.

The first day of camp, we reach there feel kind of boring.we arrived at our campsite, we went into our bunks.The bunks is like a hut. The floor are hollow and it is made out of wood.But never mind, we had games such as abseiling and flying fox.After these games,we had our bath then have dinner.After it we went to sleep.To tired to thing of anything we slept soundly.Thought we slept soundly,few of us got mosquito bites.On the second day,we had our Kayaking.both my friend and i was first time play kayaking we felt very excited.After the games, we had our campfire and every single one of us enjoyed the campfire and our own performance.Although we did not perform very well but we did our best in doing in it.

The third day of the camp, all of us had to clear the area and after clearing we will set off back to school. In conclusion, I felt enjoyable throughout the days in the camp.

My Career

Have you wonder what job would you be taking when you are an adult? Have you ever think of it?Would you be a teacher, , firefighter, police officer or doctor? Choosing a job is not that easy,but you need a dream.It is because if we have a dream ,we will thing of ways to achive my dream.

As for me, I would like to be game designer because i like to create game to let other play.Have you wonder why there are good game and lousy game when you play your game?How would u do if you have a game that so boring and u wanted to make a new one of this kind of game? So i want to become a game designer to play my game and to create game.

Singapore Flyer

What i think before going to Singapore flyer is something like a ferries wheel but is mach bigger than that.When we reach there, i saw the flyer,it was amazing.When we get abord, the flight was as smooth as I have ever thought of.I felt excited as when we reach the maximum point,we could see Malaysia, Esplanade, Marina Golf Course, Singapore River, Floating Stadium, many more. think it is cool and everybody should go there and try.

The experience on the Singapore Flyer was really a fun.There are a lot of question which we did not know such as why is it build?How to build so gigantic wheel? The air-conditioner surprise me. We get to gather and play around but at the same time we do our assignments as well and this shows that we not only play hard, but do our assignments “hard” as well. One thing that interest me is that some of my friends have phobia of hight.Their expression was very serious ,trembling with fear .But they got with it overall.

Chinese New Year

Chinese new year is a day for fun and laughter.Why?It is because kids will get "ang bao"(red packet) for them.Inside is all money.We get a reunion dinner on that day eating happily with nosiness..I think Chinese New Year is a day for relatives to finally meet together due to their work.

Chinese New Year have some customs such as do not say bad words like go and die because he will be scolded by adult.On that day when you wake up, you should say some lucky words like "gong xi fa cai" and other words . On the day before new year,we should stay up late because when u stay up late , your parent will leave longer.

The Chinese have also a few beliefs such as on the first day of Chinese New Year,we should not clean the floor or your lucky will be sweep away just like you sweep the floor. On the seventh day, the Chinese will celebrate “Ren Ri” which means everyone’s birthday. On that day, they will also “Lao Yu Sheng” .During Chinese New Year, the Chinese also believes in bad luck.

Chinese New Year is day when people should enjoyed the most because it is three day off.And money come easily.It is my most enjoyable day in my whole year.We should be joyful for this

Chinese New year is a day when we can really relax and reflect at the same time. Chinese New Year last for fifteen days and is only once a year so we should treasure the time spent together. Therefore, I think we should come together and celebrate this joyous day. Life is short and we don not know when is our time.So we should treasure this day.

Your Views on Chong Boon Rules

Any place have their rule,so does Chong boon secondary school.If a place does not have rule, the place will gone chaos.If each people break rule like others did,how to keep the place good?The school rules are for us to follow and not break. We have to do things in a clearer mind and not do things in a messy manner. Thus, I feel that having school rules is not a problem.

Firstly, Chong Boon School rules are mostly same as other school . Chong Boon has rules such as truancy, attire, behaviour, late coming or appearance and etc.this rule are important because if the or she come late to school,he will do it again so there will be a lot of disturbance in school. Furthermore, if a student carries behaviour or attitude problem all the time or dressing in an ugly manner, the person is humiliating his or herself and embarrassing the school. So school rule are important.

beside it, school rules can tell us what is right and what is wrong. Teacher are here to teach us not to create trouble to them.Thus we should gave them some peaceful days by following the school.We should no waste time in school by breaking the rules in school.

Some people thing that school rules are thing that are impossible to follow,they are wrong.But sometime they broke the rules by accident,will the teacher give them another chance?If wegave them another how do we know they will never break again?

Therefore, I think that we should abide the school rules as it is a form of respect to the school. We should make the place more "problem free" place.Rules are important any where,So does the school rules

Is technology is a treat or a promise? Till this day technology help us in a lot of thing like computer can help us to do online discussion just like what I do now. Technology also fails us like when you have an important document in the computer and if your computer spoils, you will face the consequence. I think that technology is a promise to everyone.
As a promise to us, technology helps us to find cure to some disease. Technology give us better housing like HDB flats in Singapore, it help us to save place because it is a small country. As technology grows, everything has change, everyone become more faster. We have some new invention like solar panel cars. This helps us to save the environment.

But some of them misuse technology. People use technology to build factories and will destroy the environment .Some of the technology cannot find the incurable disease such as HIV and AIDS.

In conclusion, new technology help us become more advance then other .We should be happy because of new technology .

Has the internet caused more harm than good?

As technology grows, internet is the that people nowadays cant live without it.The internet are so convenience that people are using for finding information for project,sending e-mail,play games and etc.However,some people thing that internet is bad but I think internet will do good to both the people who need internet for help.

Teenager like us can do some research on something that we do not know about like some history about other countries what happen.They can save money to buy newspaper as internet have newspaper online.It also help me to save paper as i can write my journal on blog rather then writing on the book because one year can only write a few pages only.For adult,they gain most form the internet as some time he or she sick ,but they have work to pass up urgently,they can send by e-mail.They can also go online to buy item such as bag,shoe and etc.Such thing can save time going to shopping.

On the hand,people can use internet to do some illegal thing like download of song,video and etc.When they download thing like that,they can go and sell it illegally.Some of the parent did not know what are internet function or do not know what are about will worried about there son or daughter when they stick to computer for hours.Internet have a lot of website that can cheat people money if you are be careful about it,you will fall into their trap.In internet, you can also easily get virus if you are not careful enough,so then you waste money to get your computer fixed,it very troublesome.

If parent are worried about their children what they are doing and yo do not know what is internet is all about, you can learn form your children or you can go to community club to learn it.If you are scare that your computer have virus,you can install Norton anti virus.

In conclusion,i think that internet benefit to people like us as it can teach us useful thing.As people can learn to use internet properly,then the other will think internet is good.

During the December holidays, I went to Malaysia to visit my grandmother.As my grandmother live in KL,it took 5 hour to reach my grandmother's house.when i reached at my grandma's house, the first thing i do is when to sleep as i cant sleep in the train.My aunt brought me and his sons to go to KL twin tower. I was interested in the in the twin tower as i was never been in there so this is my first time going to the twin tower.My aunt brought me to the sky bridge to take a walk to the other side of the twin tower. At first i was scared as the hight of the bridge was about 41 story hight.But later i felt excited to cross the bridge.This is the most exciting thing that i have ever done in Malaysia .
